Overview

I have been in love with flight for as long as I can remember.  From flying paper and balsa gliders as a kid to having a private pilots license for six years to studying aerospace engineering at ERAU, my whole life has been centered on aircraft.  Flight simulation has therefore been one of my hobbies since Chuck Yeager's Air Combat met my 486x33.  Microsoft FS5 and FS98 had been my simulators of choice for years, but they never gave me the reality I wanted.  Something just didn't seem right when you could make a Cessna have the flight characteristics of a 747.  In 1998 my dreams came true as I stumbled upon the X-Plane web page.   Still lacking the awesome graphics, X-Plane instantly became my favorite sim.  This sim has helped me design aircraft for my senior design project in college and has given me all the free instrument practice toward my rating I could ask for.  This page is dedicated to Laminar Research and their illustrious leader Austin.  Also check out X-Plane.org who have graciously allowed us free space for these aicraft.  Many thanks to 'The .org'!!

Thank you Austin!  Enjoy these downloads.
