Andrew's X-Plane Aircraft

Pilatus PC-6 'Turbo Porter'
(Air America)

_

This aircraft is for all of those who love the movie 'Air America' starring Mel Gibson.  This model is of the older PC-6 which was used during Vietnam.  Therefore it uses the older Garrett engine instead of the PT6A-27, which is seen on all current versions of the PC-6.  This aircraft consistently displays takeoff and landing rolls of 646 feet and 417 feet respectively.  With this performance, this aircraft is commonly seen competing in the same field with more costly helicopters.  I'm not sure if it will actually fit inside a C-123, but it might be fun for you scenery designers to find out!

The v6.06 model has a redesigned exhaust, resized tires, cleaner repaint, repositioned tailwheel, and the propeller was tweaked.

CAUTION: Rudder control is a must for the version 5 package!!

Enjoy!!
