Cabo Verde: My vacation in Cape Verde

This is about 50 photos from my album, showing the fortnight's vacation in Cape Verde in Oct-Nov 1997, which I spent travelling around on three islands.

[B757]

First we flew to Paris from Sweden, from where we flew with the TACV Boeing 757 to Sal, the island where the international airport is. This flight took less than six hours. [ATR-42 cockpit]
We didn't stay there, but changed to a TACV ATR-42 and flew to the island So Vicente. I found TACV a good airline to fly with both on the international and domestic routes.

Cabo Verde is an independent nation consisting of a group of twenty islands of volcanic origin, nine inhabited, located in the Atlantic, west of northern Africa. The island group centered around 16 deg N and 24 deg W and extends about 150 km. The larger inhabited islands are about 20 - 30 km across.

Here follows the photos from the three islands, which were quite different from each other.
