Akime is a small fishing village, with around 180 inhabitants.
Its main claim to fame is that part of "You only live twice" was
filmed here, but that's certainly not the only reason to visit
it. It sure was a contrast compared to what we had seen
previously.
I enjoyed taking walks along the coast, instead of following
the main party to one of the hilltops.
Very good food we got there, naturally from the sea and naturally
very fresh.
