[Super Puma] Hkp 10, Super Puma

The first of 12 Aerospatiale AS.332M1 Super Pumas for the Swedish air force were delivered in 1988.

They replaced the Hkp 4 Vertol 107s in the search and rescue role, the last of which was withdrawn from air force service in 1992. (They still serve with the navy.)
[Super Puma] After retirement of the air force's MBB Bo 105CBSs in 1993 and Agusta Bell 204Bs in 1998, they will be the only helicopters in the air force.

[Super Puma] They are all equipped with inflatable contingency floats as they operate over water a lot.

[Super Puma] Extensive navigation and search equipment is fitted as they are to operate also under very bad weather conditions.
