Benchmade Pinnacle

The Pinnacle is a sturdy utility folder, which felt right the first time I handled it. You get a good grip when holding it due to the finger cutout and the ridges on top of the handle. There is a cutout for the first finger. The blade has a slight recurve. There are ridges on top both on the thumb end and on the other.

After a few days of opening and closing it, my fingers didn't like it much, so I put it away. But since I liked how it handled when cutting, which it does well, and how it carries, I started carrying it more and more, instead of just when I knew I had lots to cut, and now the mechanism is smoother. There's not even a problem opening and closing it with the left hand, in spite of the stud being placed for the right thumb.

The dark clip is placed high The clip is placed so I can put the knife in a knife pocket with the clip over the edge and close the pocket flap.
